SANT JOAN DE DÉU
With almost 150 years of history, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu is currently one of four paediatric European university hospitals that attends to the most children.
In paediatrics, the hospital has pioneering units such as the heart, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, oncology, foetal medicine and ophthalmology units. The most prominent research lines are those of children’s oncology and its molecular biology, rare diseases, diseases caused at the foetal age and infectious diseases.
